Body Text

Font family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif has been designated in the style sheet as the default font at the American Indian Library Association web site.

Color and Size:
  1. Use black for normal size (12 pt) text.
  2. Use black for text larger than 12 pt. (title=30 pt, subtitle = 18pt) or for text emphasized in bold.
  3. Use red for emphasis when necessary.
Normal body text has been set in the style sheet at 12pt. (Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif). This is what you should use for normal body text in paragraph descriptions, etc. You may use the toolbar options to apply bold, Italics, color, or changes in size for emphasis. (Underlining for emphasis is probably not a good idea, since people have come to expect links for items that are underlined.)

The default for body text has been set to black.
