 Honoring Our Elders The American Indian Library Association announces the establishment of a Distinguished Service Award for active and retired AILA members - HONORING OUR ELDERS. Criteria - Nominees should have demonstrated, over a period of years:
* Service to Indian communities and exceptional progress in his/her career development that has resulted in specific and extraordinary service to the American Indian Library Association; * Work for the improvement in library and information services for and to American Indian people.
